Preparations have begun in Miami
and other parts of the World for the third annual Cuban Memorial on
February 2005.
MIAMI/FLORIDA/January 14, 2005 (

) - Next February the Cuban Memorial will commemorate its second
anniversary. Once again the Cuban Memorial will reinforce its commitment
to denounce the horrible crimes committed by Fidel Castro’s regime.
In the first two Cuban Memorials, more than 10,000 crosses were solemnly
displayed at Tamiami Park in Miami, Florida. Each cross bore the name of
a person who lost his or her life because of Fidel Castro and his
henchmen.
In an interview with Net for Cuba International, chief coordinator Mr.
Renato Gomez said the Third Annual Cuban Memorial will take place next

throughout the World in solidarity with the events in Miami. We
encourage persons of all denominations to solicit their churches,
temples and places of worship to remember those who have perished by
offering the appropriate services.
We ask those who schedule religious services in their hometowns to
please visit the Masses and religious services section at
www.memorialcubano.org and provide the details so others in
the same geographic area may participate in the services.
An updated list of persons included in the Cuban Memorial is available
in the website in various languages. Please feel free to print, e-mail
and distribute the Cuban Memorial list as long as it s content is not
altered and its source is cited.
